Ole Diebold, a good friend of mine, called me and invited me to join the German windsurfer Nico Prien on his annual trip to south Spain. I packed my bag and had three amazing weeks in Tarifa. I escaped from cold Germany and had the unique chance to film the windsurf champion Nico on his daily trips and trainings. Ole taught me great staff about filmmaking and video editing. We lived together in a nice flat near the sea.
I met some other windsurfers during the time there and they were all nice guys, especially Mario Kümpel. Time flew by and after three awesome weeks, I had to leave beautiful Spain. I had a memorable time there and will hopefully meet all these people again.
