In the city of Leipzig, there are many companies that are changing the world through various projects and work. One of these companies is the biotechnology firm c-LEcta, which is researching vaccines and food supplements, among other things. To showcase this fascinating topic, an all- encompassing image and recruiting film was to be produced. In the spring of 2022, the film agency had two shooting dates in a short period of time, and I was part of the film crew. Along with Alex, this time we were joined by makeup artist Stefanie Dimitrow and cameraman Frank Creutz. We all got along very well and were able to enjoy our time in Leipzig outside of the shoot.
One special aspect of this shoot was the various locations scattered throughout c-LEcta's building. We had to constantly switch between laboratories, meeting rooms, and regular offices, which kept me busy as an assistant. Luckily, I had Michelle, a former intern at the film agency, to help me with the first shoot. We worked together to make every room unique and special, which was a challenge, especially with more plain and colorless spaces. It was crucial to use lighting to give each shot a distinctive character. Therefore, you can find LED lights in the company's colors scattered throughout the films. After the shoot, as always, Alex and I went straight to editing the films. The interviews and cutaways complemented each other perfectly, resulting in two fantastic films that we had edited for c-LEcta.
